I founded True North Progress Group because I believe every person has a purpose—even when life's challenges make it difficult to see. My mission is to help individuals and leaders gain clarity, build resilience, and move forward with confidence, intention, and authenticity.

I'm a husband, father, son, lifelong public servant, and leader whose leadership journey began in the U.S. Army, where I proudly served five years in Special Operations as a Ranger. After my military service, I dedicated more than 23 years to the fire service and currently serve as an Assistant Chief of Operations. Those experiences have taught me that leadership isn't about titles or authority—it is about serving others, earning trust, and making the right decisions when they matter most.

Some of my most important lessons, however, came outside of my career. Coaching my son's youth football team gave me a different perspective on leadership. It taught me the importance of patience, communication, mentorship, and understanding that true leadership is measured by the growth and success of those you serve. Watching young athletes develop confidence, overcome challenges, and work together reinforced that leadership is not just about directing others—it is about investing in people.

Surviving cancer also changed my perspective forever. It deepened my appreciation for resilience, strengthened my sense of purpose, and reminded me that adversity doesn't define us—it reveals who we truly are. Through those challenges, along with the opportunity to travel and connect with people from many different walks of life, I discovered a simple truth: while our stories may be different, many of our struggles are remarkably similar. We all search for purpose. We all face setbacks. And we all want to live a life of meaning.

That realization became the foundation of True North Progress Group.

I don't simply develop leaders—I help people discover who they are, clarify where they want to go, and build the mindset, confidence, and discipline to move forward. Whether you're an executive seeking to grow, a veteran or first responder navigating transition, an entrepreneur building something meaningful, or someone searching for direction, my commitment is the same: to provide honest guidance, practical tools, and unwavering accountability every step of the way.
